Athletics
Both challenging and supportive, Chadwick’s Middle School athletics program not only teaches students the importance of fitness, wellbeing and physical health, it also shows students how to push themselves, be a leader, work with others and contribute positively to group dynamics. Multiple athletic options are available to students that go hand in hand with the ongoing physical education that is built into the weekly schedule.
Occurring four times a week, this athletics block of time alternates between team sports and "Fitness For Life" courses which focus on building skills, providing exposure to new athletic opportunities and promoting physical fitness and wellness.
Team Sports
Competition is a part of life. We introduce students to this concept in a safe, positive and respectful environment. Middle School introduces further structure and focus to team sports. Students have plenty of options to choose from, including team sports like basketball, baseball, flag football, soccer, softball, volleyball and water polo, as well as individual sports like golf, swimming and track and field. There are regular practices, games and competitions against other local schools — all of which show students that a commitment to being our best isn’t about being perfect, but about growth.
