The Arts
Visual Arts
Each student has a story to tell, and we help them show it. Middle School opens up artistic avenues such as drawing, painting and design, working with pencils, pens, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal and more. They also continue their ceramics education, learning about form and function, and engage with media arts like photography and video. Personal expression really comes to the forefront through each course, giving students the ability to build their self-awareness and grow into the person they want to be.

Performing Arts
Being able to connect with the people around you brings true developmental benefits. Students in seventh and eighth grade are given multiple outlets for their creative energy that also bring them closer to their community, help them develop new perspectives and build their ability to empathize. Every student can play in the orchestra or sing in the chorus. They also can try out drama, debate, or take part in the Middle School Musical held every June. And it’s all done with expert, caring instruction in a positive environment.
